Caring for mothers and babies is where Hargreaves began back in 1925 — and it's still close to our heart. If you're planning to welcome your baby with us, here's exactly how the process works so there are no surprises.
Step 1 — Consult a registered OB-GYN
Expectant mothers planning to deliver at Hargreaves must first consult with an OB-GYN registered with our facility. Your OB-GYN oversees your pregnancy and plans for a safe delivery.
Step 2 — Get your booking letter
Your OB-GYN provides a booking letter that specifies the type of delivery — vaginal birth or caesarean section. This letter is important: bring it with you.
Step 3 — Understand the deposit
On arrival, a deposit is required based on your delivery choice. It's payable prior to, or on the day of, admission — exactly as set out in your booking letter. Knowing this in advance means one less thing to worry about on the day.
Step 4 — Arrive and be cared for
When your time comes, our maternity team supports you through delivery and beyond, with neonatal support for your newborn and comfortable accommodation for your stay.
